  Ela Green School, one of the Best Schools in Maraimalainagar , conducted the 1st State Level Chess Tournament on 12th October 2025, in association with King’s Mate Chess Academy. The event school’s journey in fostering the values of strategic thinking, concentration, and sportsmanship to students all over Tamil Nadu students. With over 300 contestants attending from schools across the state, the event became inclusive on grand scale. Passionate players, between 6 and 18 years of age, participated in the tournament and displayed impressive mental skills and calmness. The newly built and well designed with modern amenities, infrastructure of the school, which is named after plants, provided the appropriate environment for the first grade events of this types.
