Ela Green School Candidates “Kalai Koodaram 2025 – One World, Many Stories”
Located in Chengalpattu, one of South India’s most prestigious
IB International Schools, Ela Green School, celebrated Kalai Koodaram 2025 on
September 20th. 2025. This extravaganza was an integration of various art
forms, culture, and creativity and was an important step toward the school’s
goal of holistic education. This takes education beyond the four walls of a

As one of the first

Green School actively promotes disposition toward imagination, collaboration,

As a pioneer for
incorporating art into education, the Chief Guest, Anil Srinivasan, and his
work has inspired students to incorporate creativity into their education

highlights of the evening.

International Schools near Oragadam. The Guest of Honour, Chairperson of
Maraimalai Nagar, Thiru J. Shanmugam, commended the school innovation and
cultural engagement and forwarded his appreciation to the teachers, students,

young, which for in the school’s teachings, encompass compassion, empathy, and
cross-culturally.
A Tapestry of Art, Music, and Stories
“Kalai Koodaram,”
meaning “House of Art,” was a visual and emotional treat for everyone present.
The performances began with a graceful invocation, followed by a series of
mesmerizing acts that transported the audience across cultures and eras.
Students “One World, Many Stories,” through traditional dances, musical
performances, and theatrical storytelling, and brought to life the theme.
Every story
communicated messages of courage, unity, empathy, and resilience — the core
values of the philosophy of the school. The event beautifully illustrated the
students' ability to integrate knowledge from different subjects with a creative
flow, a first in the world of art, which has a distinct place in the
International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum. The school is a certified

Merging Modern Learning with Tradition
Ela Green School, an
International School at Oragadam, integrates the enduring aspects of Indian

went on at 5:00 pm, the setting sun triggered an atmosphere of expectation,
applause, and pride. Parents and guests enjoyed the students’ performances
showcasing confidence, discipline and passion. The evening left memories that
truly celebrated learning through the arts and the students’ work was
acknowledged with gratitude.
Along with
"Kalai Koodaram" programs, the Ela Green School continues to be among
the Top IB Schools in South India. Each learner develops a love for creativity,
appreciation for various cultures, and a global mindset. The celebration was
