EYP-2 Students Shine at Campfire and Tent-Making Activity

 

Learners’ utmost enjoyment mixed with endless laughter is what stays brilliantly etched in our memories. At Ela Green School, we aim at nurturing students in a creative and collaborative manner, which provides them with utter confidence. Young enthusiastic students from EYP-2 section recently participated in attending an overwhelming campfire and tent making activity. And as expected, our students enjoyed every single moment throughout this event.



As an International Baccalaureate (IB) School in Vandalur, we remain committed to providing one-of-its-kind learning opportunities to students from across the globe. To foster problem solving and creativity skill among students in a fun-filled environment, we conducted this event to strengthen healthy teamwork among students. Students were very delighted with the notion of a fun adventure over the weekend.



The campers put up their tents with excitement while attempting to understand what it means to build a structure and why it requires teamwork. This basic, hands-on activity enhanced their motor skills and strengthened their ability to communicate and collaborate with each other. As night approached, so did the warm glow of the campfire isolated in the dark forest setting. Students danced cheerfully, sang fun songs, and listened to numerous captivating stories told by their teachers. The night did not end here, as students enjoyed some snacks together, building companionship and friendliness.

A Visit to the Human Anatomy The PYP 4 students of Ela Green School had taken a fascinating trip to the anatomy lab of SRM University, and it is still lingering in their young minds. The visit was organized as part of the current human body unit, and it was very successful and provided invaluable learning for the students. Discovering the Anatomy Museum Upon entering the anatomy museum, the children saw several organs displayed with great attention to detail.
