Ela Green School Celebrates Halloween in Spooktacular Style!

 

It was a day of spooky fun and frightful festivities at Ela Green School , as students and staff celebrated Halloween in spooktacular style.

The day began with a costume parade, where students and staff alike showed off their creativity and competitive spirit in their spooky costumes. There were witches, ghosts, vampires, werewolves, zombies, and more, with each costume more elaborate than the last.

After the parade, students enjoyed a variety of Halloween-themed activities, including:

  • Pumpkin carving: Students carved their own pumpkins, transforming ordinary gourds into works of art, from traditional jack-o’-lanterns to creative designs depicting their favorite Halloween characters and scenes.
  • Face painting: Students had their faces painted with intricate Halloween designs, such as skulls, spiders, and bats, transforming themselves into terrifying creatures of the night.
  • Costume contest: Students participated in a costume contest, with prizes awarded for the most creative, scariest, and funniest costumes. The judges had a difficult task choosing the winners, as all of the costumes were so impressive.
  • Halloween games: Students played a variety of Halloween-themed games, such as pin the tail on the donkey, bobbing for apples, and mummy wrapping, testing their skills and coordination while having a blast.
  • Treats: Of course, no Halloween celebration would be complete without treats! Students enjoyed a variety of Halloween candy and snacks, from classic candy corn and chocolate bars to more creative treats such as pumpkin spice cupcakes and spider-shaped cookies.

The day ended with a Halloween dance, where students danced the night away to their favorite Halloween tunes, from spooky classics to modern pop hits. The dance floor was packed with students and staff alike, all moving in unison to the music and enjoying the festive atmosphere.

Ela Green School’s Halloween celebration was a resounding success! Students and staff alike had a spooktacular time participating in the activities and celebrating this beloved holiday. The school’s hallways and classrooms were transformed into a haunted wonderland, with festive decorations and eerie lighting setting the mood for a day of fun and fright.
