Blue Day at ELA Green School: A Celebration of Water and Earth

  With respect to ELA Green School, education goes beyond the books and physical classrooms. It includes instilling values, creating awareness, and developing responsible global citizens. Recently, the students of the Early Years Programme (EYP) participated in Blue Day, whose theme was “Save Water and Save Earth.” The event was full of excitement, original thought, and constructive learning which allowed the younger participants to learn the value of saving and preserving natural resources. Blue Day was not just about dressing in blue; it was a unique opportunity for children to learn about the environment and sustainability, a core value of the school’s vision. At ELA Green School, we believe that education should inspire curiosity, creativity, and confidence, and the Mini Market Mela we had recently hosted with our EYP students was the perfect reflection of that vision. The event was more than just a fun activity—it was a hands-on learning experience where children stepped into the shoes of real world entrepreneurs, doctors, artists and community builders. The Mela showcased what ELA Green School is about. It goes beyond the traditional approach of education and textbooks and emphasizes the importance of developing life skills even outside the classroom.
