Green Minds in Action! Celebrating World Environment Day at Ela Green School

 

At Ela Green School, we understand that education goes well beyond the classroom; it is the centerpiece for instilling ideals, raising mindfulness, and prompting action. To mark World Environment Day, our campus came alive with green energy as we hosted a powerful and engaging Awareness Program on Sustainability, which was executed by the creative team at Mahindra Research Valley.



This day reflected our steadfast devotion towards comprehensive learning, which is one of the primary features of our curriculum. With great enthusiasm, our students embraced a number of carefully designed activities which enabled them to take pride in being eco-ambassadors, reinforcing their willingness to safeguard Mother Nature.

Thought Provoking Motivational Sessions

The event's starting point was with informative addresses given by Mahindra Reasarch Valley's personnel. These movers and shakers not only introduced our students to some of the most problematic aspects pertaining to the environment today, but also discussed their visions on what a sustainable future would look like. Their compelling sentiments did not go unnoticed.

Our learners from Ela Green School in Guduvanchery underwent an IB Program, so they are already familiar with inquiry-based learning and critical thinking. The talks further enriched their lessons, demonstrating how local activities contribute to global results.



Creative Expression Through Art

Art speaks words where no language exists, and our students proved this notion during the painting sessions. This eco-friendly expression of art allowed students to share their visions for the earth through color and brushstroke. Their artworks revolved around nature, conservation, and sustainability, portraying a beautiful imagination of a greener tomorrow.
