Painting History with a Brush

This interesting activity sought to encourage students who have a liking for the subject to take part in an archaeological dig. With a specialist, students investigated the techniques of an excavation, ranging from stratigraphy to shovel and trowel use. It wasn’t just about finding things; it was about finding things and then finding out how it happened, where it happened and what it means.



Indeed our students enjoyed the challenge, and as a team, worked under stress to solve the puzzles that lay buried in the ground. The activity assisted them in strengthening critical thinking, cooperation, and concentration skills that are beneficial in education and most importantly in life.
