World Leprosy Awareness Day Rally – ELA Green School Students Are Always Ready For Spreading Awareness About Social Issues

Every year, the Junior Red Cross students of ELA Green School set their goal to organize a rally on World Leprosy Day on January 30, 2025. It aims to provide information to students, teachers, and the local community on leprosy, its prevention methods, and removing the stigma attached to it. This rally was also aimed at sensitizing and instilling social consciousness in young children, which is the school’s perpetual objective. Taking Actions To Spread Awareness The members of Junior Red Cross put together slogans and informative statements on signs, which they took along while walking around the school and its vicinity. Some of the crucial elements of leprosy, such as early detection, medical treatment, and compassion towards patients, were the focus of the rally.
