A Visit to the Human Anatomy

The PYP 4 students of Ela Green School had taken a fascinating trip to the anatomy lab of SRM University, and it is still lingering in their young minds. The visit was organized as part of the current human body unit, and it was very successful and provided invaluable learning for the students.





Discovering the Anatomy Museum


Upon entering the anatomy museum, the children saw several organs displayed with great attention to detail. The sight of real organs that were well preserved and presented generated excitement and curiosity among kids. Through this practical experience, they could better understand organ systems that have been taught in class. On seeing such things as the heart, lungs, brain, and others, the student's eyes became bigger with awe.





Engaging with Experts and Asking Questions


During this trip, there was quite an impressive level of interest by each student. They wanted to know about how all these systems functioned together. What happens if one thing goes wrong? Each function of every individual organ? Their questions demonstrated a deep comprehension not only of the basics but also encouraged going deeper into them since they showed interest in science.

Without a doubt, it can be said that this examination room has helped ignite more curiosity among learners after that visit. The hands-on experience coupled with interaction with medical practitioners has motivated them to look deeper into this interesting field of human anatomy.
